The Role: Franchise Business Coach (FBC)
This role is your chance to make a real difference, helping franchise owners thrive and achieve their dreams! As an FBC, you'll be the key advisor and point of contact for a portfolio of Camp Bow Wow locations in Region 6 (AK, AZ, CA, HI, ID, MT, NE, ND, NV, OR, UT, SD, WA, WY). While ideally based within the region, remote work is possible.
What You'll Do:
- 📈 Financial & Operational Analysis: Conduct analyses to identify opportunities, prioritize needs, and create tailored action plans for each location.
- 🤝 Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with franchisees, sharing insights, recommendations, and operational guidelines.
- 👨🏫 Coaching & Training: Provide coaching and training to help franchisees optimize operations and boost profitability.
- 📅 Regular Engagement: Conduct calls, site visits, monthly business reviews, webinars, and peer group sessions.
- ✅ Brand Standard Enforcement: Ensure all locations adhere to Camp Bow Wow's brand standards, operational guidelines, and regulations.
- 📝 Documentation & Communication: Document all communication in FranConnect (CRM software) and resolve issues within 24 hours.
- 📊 Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data and reports to inform franchise business strategies, sharing insights on sales, customer feedback, and KPIs.
- 🤝 Mediation & Support: Act as a mediator between franchisees and corporate teams, ensuring smooth communication and problem resolution.
- 📢 Marketing Support: Assist franchisees in implementing marketing strategies and campaigns.
- 📚 Curriculum Development & Training: Contribute to training materials and deliver training sessions as needed.
- 📈 Performance Monitoring: Complete quarterly location snapshots, documenting compliance and following up with franchisees.
- 💡 Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge with franchisees.
- 💻 Technology Support: Assist the Technology Department in testing new applications and programs.
What We're Looking For:
- 🎓 Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 💼 Experience: 3-5 years in franchise operations, business consulting, or multi-unit management (pet, retail, or hospitality preferred).
- ✈️ Travel: Ability to travel up to 75% (overnight and weekend travel included).
- 📊 Analytical Skills: 2+ years of experience analyzing business results and creating business plans.
- 🤝 Franchise Experience: 2+ years of experience working with franchise systems and building rapport with franchise owners.
- 🗣️ Communication Skills: Excellent communication (written and verbal), organization, and presentation skills.
- 🎯 Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, proactive, and follows through on commitments.
- ⏱️ Time Management: Excellent time management and project management skills.
- 💻 Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). FranConnect experience a plus.
- 🐶 Dog Lover: A genuine love for dogs is essential!
Compensation & Benefits:
- 💰 Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
- 💼 Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
- 🏡 Work Arrangement: Primarily remote with up to 75% travel. Quarterly in-office visits to Colorado are required.
