The Role
As a Freelance Web Designer at Reedsy, you'll craft stunning, high-converting websites for book authors. You'll be their go-to expert, ensuring their online presence reflects their unique brand and helps them connect with readers.
What You'll Do
- Develop new websites and refresh existing ones.
- Craft compelling designs and branding.
- Handle domain acquisition and website hosting setup.
- Boost website SEO.
- Design lead magnets (e.g., newsletter signup forms).
- Build contact forms and integrate social media.
- Empower clients to manage their websites (or provide ongoing maintenance).
What We're Looking For

3+ years of web design experience.
- A strong portfolio showcasing live, impressive websites.
- Proficiency in at least one CMS: WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, ExpressionEngine, Ghost, or Joomla.
- Experience in the publishing industry is a plus!
