Front End Developer I (Remote)

Software Development – Remote (Mexico)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create clean, usable, responsive, and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, create great interactions from designs, write reusable content modules, and maintain the code.
• Set up UI development principles to make sure the product client-side works well at scale.
• Review and adjust app usage by watching key measurements and fixing problems before they become bigger.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced setting and bring in the best flow for quickly changing designs/technology.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert, or frontend engineer.
• Solid knowledge in HTML and CSS.
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system.
• Skillful with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, and others.
• Experience debugging using popular JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console.
• Passion to create good design and usability.
• A team player with good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of Ember and Ruby will be a plus.
