The Fund Compliance Officer is a crucial role ensuring our financial operations maintain the highest regulatory standards. You'll develop, implement, and manage compliance policies and procedures, reinforcing our commitment to operational excellence. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring compliance with the Golden Visa Portugal program, safeguarding investor confidence.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to all financial and regulatory frameworks, proactively adapting to changes in laws and standards.
• Policy Development: Create, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices and company goals.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee company activities to identify and mitigate compliance risks. Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Golden Visa Compliance: Ensure all Investment Fund activities comply with Golden Visa Portugal program rules and investor obligations.
• Training & Awareness: Conduct employee training sessions to promote compliance awareness and accountability.
• Risk Assessment: Collaborate with various departments to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

🎯 What We're Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Certifications: Professional certifications in compliance or finance are highly desirable.
• Experience:
  • Mandatory: Prior experience working with regulatory bodies like the CMVM (Portuguese Securities Market Commission).
  • Essential: Strong financial background and knowledge of regulatory landscapes.
  • Advantageous: Experience in real estate or investment funds. Familiarity with the Portuguese Golden Visa program.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail.
