🤝 The Role

Syensqo is building its Global Business Services (GBS) to handle Finance, Procurement, and Human Resources. We're looking for someone to join a dynamic and collaborative team in a transformation journey.

You'll be based in one of our 3 service centers: Lisbon, Curitiba, or Bangkok, and will be part of this exciting transition from day one.

This position reports directly to the Financial Accounting Service Unit Manager.

In this role, you'll be a key link between the Group Accounting and Reporting team, CAM/CADs, and external auditors. You'll make sure everyone is aligned on audit needs and deadlines for IFRS and Statutory audit requirements.

What You'll Do

• Organize, coordinate, and monitor the statutory audit within the GBS scope of the Central Audit Model.
• Create and maintain the Statutory AOdoc database to communicate with auditors.
• Establish and maintain the Statutory Audit DataStudio dashboard.
• Manage and maintain auditor access (contingent worker creation, SAP access, BFC, AOdoc).
• Prepare a "Prepared by Client" (PBC) checklist and follow up on audit progress.
• Compile statistics on open points, track audit deadlines, and send alerts when deadlines are approaching for incomplete actions.
• Help coordinate Customer Circularization, aligning with auditors for template/wording and reviewing/translating with CAMs.
• Facilitate GBS Status meetings with EY BE Auditors and GBS Audit stakeholders.
• Work with CADs/CAMs, the Accounting Platform, Controlling, and other Audit stakeholders (Procurement, HR, Credit Management) and Central Auditors to ensure the Statutory database is up-to-date and understand potential roadblocks and delays.
• Serve as the key contact for GAC internal controls towards CAMs.

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in auditing.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to interact with people at different levels across the globe.
• A strong customer focus and ability to adapt quickly.
• Experience with SAP in Finance.
• Proactive with a high level of initiative.
• Excellent collaboration skills.

Language Skills

• Excellent English communication skills.
• Speaking the local language is a plus.
