The Team:
The Opella Procurement Indirect Team manages diverse categories, including Digital, Medical & Scientific, Professional Services, and Supply Chain. We're searching for a Global Lead Buyer to lead our Software procurement within the Digital category.
What You'll Do: π€
- Strategy: Develop and implement innovative strategies, create multi-year roadmaps for cost savings and value creation, and ensure procurement excellence across TCO, sustainability, innovation, supply continuity, and quality. Engage with business partners at all levels.
- Operations: Manage biddings, negotiate prices, establish contracts, address digital project and supplier issues, drive new market opportunities and sustainable components, manage supplier relationships, optimize the supplier base, and improve payment terms for better working capital and cash flow.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with digital teams for effective execution, communicate within the procurement community, facilitate business interactions to drive initiatives and strategies, and partner with finance, digital, and legal departments.
What We're Looking For: πͺ
- Experience: Procurement or Project Management experience with suppliers is essential. Experience managing digital procurement, particularly software, is highly valued.
- Soft Skills: Proven leadership skills in building and leading cross-functional teams, effective communication (oral & written), and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Technical Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, ability to understand products, suppliers, and product processes, strong business acumen and strategic thinking, and understanding of cost management, budgeting, and controlling.
- Languages: Fluent English is required.
