Mission & Outcomes 🎯

Your mission is to use data to drive Smartcat's growth. You'll build data analytics foundations for HR and Finance, creating dashboards and insights. Specifically, you will:

• Design and implement a system for variable compensation payouts.
• Create insightful dashboards for various user groups using HR and Finance data.
• Develop a People Operations dashboard using key talent KPIs to improve efficiency.
• Build a system to monitor hiring and rewards for internal equity.
• Lead compensation benchmarking across our global workforce (30+ countries, 20+ US states).
• Create standardized templates for comparing our total rewards offerings to market data.

Requirements 💼

• Experience: 4+ years in HR/Data analytics, strong understanding of people operations metrics, KPIs, and data analytics.
• Excel/Sheets Expertise: Expert-level skills (pivot tables, x-lookup, v-lookup, index, match, filtering, lambda functions, testing, correlation).
• Data Handling: Experience pulling, standardizing, synthesizing, and manipulating data from various systems (HubSpot, NetSuite, Grafana, HiBob, Greenhouse, LinkedIn, BuiltIn, Gong, Metaview, etc.).
• Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and statistical skills for hypothesis testing.
• Approach: Data-driven decision-making, ability to justify decisions with metrics.
• Attributes: Integrity, commitment, growth mindset, adaptability to a fast-paced startup environment, openness to feedback.
• Schedule: Willingness to work primarily US-based hours (9 am - 6 pm EST).
