The Role: 🧑‍💼

We're searching for a Forensic Advisory Services Intern to join our Advisory Department in New York City. This is a hybrid role.

What You'll Do:

• Provide forensic accounting services for various engagements, including economic damage analyses, intellectual property disputes, purchase price disputes, fraud investigations, and internal investigations.
• Gather, organize, analyze, and summarize supporting documentation clearly and concisely.
• Read, understand, and interpret financial statements and records to perform financial analyses.
• Develop and use computer models to simplify complex information into clear analyses.
• Assist in preparing exhibits and reports for expert witness testimony.
• Maintain the highest professional standards, client confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

What We're Looking For: 🔎

• Currently a Junior or Senior, expecting to graduate with a Bachelor of Science or applying to a 5-year Master's program in finance, accounting, business, or applied economics.
• Completed relevant coursework in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Highly motivated with analytical skills, including strong accounting, financial analysis, and modeling skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with team members.

Internship Program Details: 📅

• Winter Internship: Typically begins in early January and ends in April or May (busy season).
• Summer Internship: An 8-week in-person program, usually starting in early June and ending in late July.
