IT MES Engineer (Hydra)

This role offers remote work flexibility from anywhere in Hungary, with occasional office presence in Budapest for team meetings and company events. We provide the technical setup for successful remote work.

🚀 What You'll Do:

• Support the operation of our global shop floor IT landscape, focusing on our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Proactively monitor MES systems to identify issues, performance bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
• Conduct regular health checks and system audits to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks (software updates, patches, upgrades) with internal/external stakeholders.
• Manage MES business process configuration changes according to established processes.
• Provide technical and process support to MES users, including troubleshooting, answering questions, and offering training.
• Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and work with the solution architect to develop solutions.
• Participate in rollout projects to establish our HYDRA solution in new production sites worldwide.

👨‍💻 What You'll Need:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years as an MES Engineer or troubleshooting MES issues. Experience in the automotive or discrete manufacturing industry is a plus. Proven proficiency in troubleshooting MES-related technical or business process issues and performing detailed diagnostics is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proven MES experience is required. HYDRA experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of underlying infrastructure (Windows Server, Networking), web servers, and web technologies is beneficial.
• Competencies: Excellent communication and customer orientation skills. Intercultural competencies are needed to work within our global MES community. Ability to prioritize tasks based on business impact and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and an analytical mindset are crucial.
• Language: Fluent English is required.
