We're searching for a passionate and organized Junior Events Specialist to join our team in Porto, Portugal! In this role, you'll play a key part in creating engaging experiences that bring our employees closer together and foster a strong sense of community.
🎉 What You'll Do
- Develop and carry out employee engagement plans that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Manage internal communication channels like newsletters, the company intranet, and social media to make sure information flows smoothly across the company.
- Plan and organize employee events, team-building activities, and employee recognition programs.
- Work together with different departments and serve as a link between operations and marketing to align communication strategies and ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Keep track of how well communication and engagement efforts are doing and suggest ways to improve based on feedback and data.
- Stay current on the best practices and newest trends in employee engagement and communication.
🔎 What We're Looking For

Education: A Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, human resources, or a related field.

Experience: You have experience in employee engagement, internal communications, or related areas. Experience in event planning and project management is a bonus.

Skills:
- Ability to manage resources and budgets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- You have a strategic mindset and can align communication efforts with company goals.
- Creative thinking and the ability to create innovative engagement and communication strategies.

Languages: Fluent spoken and written English and Portuguese.

Nice to have: Knowledge of Canva and PowerPoint.
