👨‍💻 The Role:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in building new applications, enhancing our existing product, and improving our development processes. You'll work with a talented team, using cutting-edge technologies, and creating solutions that drive our growth. This is a remote position open to candidates within the U.S.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop applications using NextJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, and PostgreSQL.
  • Work with and learn technologies including jQuery, Bootstrap, and Adobe ColdFusion.
  • Contribute to a codebase hosted on AWS.
  • Stay current on technical best practices.
  • Design and architect new applications using cutting-edge technology.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, communicating openly, and helping team members succeed.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our product and platform, ensuring your work aligns with our development pipeline and benefits our customers.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s with engineers, define goals, mentor, and coach for performance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must-Have:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • 4+ years of software development experience.
    • Team lead and/or Scrum Master experience.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems independently.
    • Proficiency with full-stack front-end and back-end frameworks and languages.
    • Interest in mentoring or managing other engineers.
    • 4+ years of experience with ReactJS and NodeJS.
    • 2+ years of experience with SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
    • 2+ years of experience designing and architecting scalable applications.
    • Passion for writing high-quality code that makes a positive impact.
    • Experience developing using common design patterns and object-oriented development principles.
    • Experience working in an agile development environment.
    • Fluent English, excellent grammatical skills.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with AWS services.
