Join Our Team

We are looking for an experienced Immigration Legal Assistant who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our clients. You will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys by managing and preparing critical documents related to immigration removal defense.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and file a wide range of immigration documents, with a strong focus on removal defense cases, including motions, asylum applications, cancellations of removal, waivers, and petitions.
  • Conduct detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy development in removal defense cases.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive case files, ensuring all relevant information is readily accessible for attorneys.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents, providing updates on case progress as needed.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop and implement effective case strategies.
  • Stay informed of changes and developments in immigration law, with a focus on policies and procedures related to removal defense.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience as an Immigration Legal Assistant, with a specialization in immigration removal defense.
  • In-depth knowledge of immigration law and procedures, particularly regarding removal defense.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Compassionate and client-focused, with a commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of those we serve.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
  • Bilingual abilities (especially in Spanish) are highly valued.
