Responsibilities
- Drive new customer acquisition. Find and close new logo chances that match our ideal customer profile.
- Develop and carry out plans for the territory or specific industries to go beyond quarterly and yearly sales goals.
- Work closely with Marketing, Solution Engineers, and Product Experts to create custom customer solutions.
- Manage and forecast the pipeline accurately using CRM tools (Salesforce.com).
- Act as a trusted advisor to potential clients, making sure they have a top-quality experience that shows Akamai’s high standards.
Requirements
- Have relevant enterprise sales experience, with a proven record of getting new logos in B2B technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity.
- Have a hunter mindset. Be relentless in going after new business and motivated by going past ambitious goals.
- Have great skills in talking, negotiating, and building relationships, with experience talking to C-level and senior people in large companies.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills, a professional, customer-first way of thinking, and the ability to do well in an exciting setting focused on results.
- Have experience with pipeline management and making accurate forecasts.
- Be fluent in English and proficient in Danish.
