🚀 The Role:

As a hands-on engineering leader, you'll be instrumental in shaping Anatomy's product. We're searching for a brilliant, humble, curious, and detail-oriented individual who thrives on solving problems through code. This leadership role involves a diverse range of tasks related to backend services and infrastructure for our finance technology products.

🎯 What You'll Do:

• Partner with the CTO to build and lead a top-tier Fintech engineering team.
• Act as a player-coach, dedicating at least 50% of your time to coding, peer code reviews, and providing feedback on RFCs.
• Serve as the engineering partner to the product owner of the Fintech engineering team.
• Contribute to the system design of new product features and the overall product architecture and design.
• Foster a strong engineering culture emphasizing high-quality development and testing practices.
• Define, implement, and refine the technical architecture.
• Lead key projects across development, quality assurance, infrastructure, and data engineering.
• Mentor junior engineers.

💪 What We're Looking For:

• Required:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience writing Python code (demonstrating proficiency aligning with the "Zen of Python").
  • Proven success in building scalable, understandable, and maintainable distributed systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, independent, and accountable work style; a curious mindset with a passion for learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Fintech or banking expertise.
• Bonus Points:
  • Experience with AWS or GCP infrastructure.
  • Expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Expertise in NLP, Machine Learning, or LLMs.
