The Role:

We're searching for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Technologist to be the technical backbone of our Vancouver, BC production floor. You'll troubleshoot equipment, drive process improvements, and collaborate with engineering and production teams. This is a chance to significantly impact product quality and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• 🚀 Troubleshooting & Corrective Actions: Be the first responder to production challenges, collaborating with teams to identify and fix equipment issues.
• 🔎 Root Cause Analysis: Investigate production non-conformances and perform root cause analysis to support continuous improvement.
• 📝 Documentation: Develop, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including BOMs and procedural guidelines.
• ⚙️ ECO/DCO Management: Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Document Change Orders (DCOs) in our PLM, ERP, and MRP systems.
• ➕ Equipment Maintenance & Selection: Maintain and enhance existing production equipment, and assist in selecting and commissioning new equipment.
• 👨‍🏫 Training: Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and technologies.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Diploma in electronic or mechanical engineering technology or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing engineering role, ideally with experience in high-precision electro-mechanical systems.
• Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Bonus: Familiarity with SolidWorks and 3D printing.
