🏢 The Role:

This is a full-time, flexible position based remotely in Tulsa, OK, requiring travel throughout Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, and Ohio. As a Traveling Flex Mechanic, you will be a key player in ensuring our equipment is in top condition.

⚙️ What You'll Do:

• Review assembly, disassembly, and test verification procedures.
• Configure test stations and systems.
• Coordinate third-party equipment repairs.
• Analyze environmental test data and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Develop solutions for complex technical problems.
• Maintain equipment records and schedules.
• Supervise and mentor technicians (in the absence of a supervisor/manager).
• Maintain equipment records and filing systems for quality control.
• Inspect and assess parts and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
• Review, understand, and implement operational and technical standards.
• Communicate concerns and suggest solutions to supervisors (including using stop-work authority).

💪 What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with DOT regulations and reporting (a plus)
• Oil and gas mechanic experience (preferred)
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively

🏋️ Working Environment & Physical Demands:

This role involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions (hot, cold, wet), diesel fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibration. The noise level is moderate to loud. You'll need to use and maintain personal protective/respirator equipment. The job requires standing, sitting, walking, lifting (up to 65 lbs for males, 45 lbs for females using proper techniques), climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, and smelling. Good vision (including color distinction) and the ability to present information effectively are also essential.
