🛡️ The Role

As a pivotal member of Anchorage Digital's Regulatory Reporting & Exam Management team, you will ensure robust compliance across our global operations. Leveraging your expertise in regulatory engagement, including licensing, submissions, and change management, you will also support compliance efforts in other key jurisdictions (Singapore, US, etc.). You will manage all aspects of regulatory reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions across a broad range of regulations including, but not limited to, BSA/AML, KYC/CDD, PSN 01/02, and various local licensing requirements.

This role demands a deep understanding of the global regulatory space for digital assets and financial services, and the ability to interpret and address evolving requirements across diverse jurisdictions. You will lead effective exam management, handling regulatory requests and coordinating internal stakeholders. You will manage regulatory calendars, deadlines, and drive process improvements. Effective communication and collaboration are for engaging with regulators and internal teams worldwide. Your ability to leverage compliance tools, analyze data, and manage projects will contribute to a proactive and unified compliance framework. ⚙️ Job Responsibilities

  • Proven expertise in managing licensing applications for new entities, orchestrating regulatory submissions, and driving change management initiatives, strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborative experience with internal stakeholders and external regulatory teams.
  • Expert ability to manage regulatory inquiries and examinations, coordinating with internal stakeholders to provide comprehensive responses and timely completion of all regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in drafting, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive regulatory policies, procedures, and job aids, clarity and operational effectiveness.
  • Advanced proficiency in utilizing compliance software and tools to streamline regulatory reporting processes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams to meet critical reporting deadlines and data integrity.
  • Expertise in conducting in-depth regulatory analysis, compliance strategies, and performing meticulous gap analyses to proactively address evolving regulatory requirements and mitigate risks.
  • Takes ownership of assigned tasks and projects, accountability for delivering high-quality results, while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and regulatory deadlines.
  • Proactively identifies and escalates critical issues in advance, timely resolution and mitigating potential risks.
  • Successfully navigates roadblocks and obstacles, escalating when necessary, and proactively identifying solutions while adhering to internal deadlines.
  • Works independently, leads or significantly contributes to small-to-medium projects, and coordinates activities with other team members to achieve project goals and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Is aware of Anchorage Digital's strategies and objectives and how regulatory reporting and exam management contribute to their successful implementation.
  • Monitors the development of company objectives and industry trends that may affect the company's capacity to succeed.
  • Ensures that knowledge is shared amongst the team.
  • Proactively identifies potential regulatory risks or compliance issues.
  • Mentors and guides team members across multiple jurisdictions on regulatory requirements and best practices, fostering a unified compliance approach.
  • Actively collaborates across international teams and legal entities (Singapore, US, etc.) to address regulatory challenges and consistent compliance.
  • Uses compelling arguments and data-driven insights to effectively communicate complex regulatory matters to diverse stakeholders, including regulators, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Adapts communication style and content to suit the audience's level of understanding, clear and concise delivery of critical information.
  • Networks cross-functionally with key contacts outside their own area of expertise.
