Montessori 3/6 Director of Training

The Institut Supérieur Maria Montessori (ISMM), a leading French non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Montessori education, seeks a passionate and experienced AMI 3/6 Trainer to serve as the Training Director for our Montessori 3/6 Academic Course in Lyon, France. This is an onsite position.

ISMM is a renowned AMI-accredited training organization with a strong commitment to quality Montessori education. We train over 400 professionals annually across France, offering internationally recognized Montessori diplomas and certificates. We're a founding member of the Fondation Montessori de France and operate two Montessori schools alongside our training centers.

The Role 🧑‍🏫:

• Course Leadership: Direct the Montessori 3/6 Academic Course (September 7, 2023 – June 14, 2024) in Lyon.
• Curriculum Oversight: Propose a course structure that effectively utilizes our existing faculty while adhering to AMI guidelines. This may involve leading introductory sessions, periodic interventions, and regular reviews with the permanent faculty. AMI approval of the proposed structure is required.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our experienced faculty, including an AMI 3/6 auxiliary trainer (10+ years experience) and an assistant trainer with an AMI 3/6 Teacher diploma.
• Language Flexibility: Deliver lectures in either French or English. Translation assistance will be provided if needed.
• Potential for Personal Development: Depending on your profile, opportunities may exist to pursue personal training or educational activities alongside your role.

What We're Looking For 🔎:

• AMI 3/6 Trainer Certification: Essential.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in French or English (or both!).
