What You'll Do
As our Post Closing Manager, you'll lead and manage our Post Closing department, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all departmental tasks. This includes:

Managing and overseeing all aspects of the Post Closing department.Β This includes generating regular reports to ensure departmental tasks and metrics are being achieved. π

Implementing and maintaining systems and procedures for tracking and monitoring closed loans.Β This includes the delivery and purchase of loans by investors. π

Working closely with our company's investors, third-party vendors, and TPR firms.Β You'll ensure loans are purchased within expiration dates, acceptable dwell times, and investor trailing docs requirements. π€
Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret compliance regulations that potentially affect business operations.Β βοΈ

Perform risk analysis and make decisions regarding deficiencies identified during loan review.Β β οΈ

Pull reporting to verify that all loans are shipped within specified turn times.Β β³

Manage and follow up on all aged and suspended files.Β ποΈ

Manage the escrow holdback process to ensure all escrow holdbacks are released properly.Β π

Manage the final documents process to ensure that all documents are sent to the investors within investor-specified time frames.Β π

Manage and follow up on all Repurchase loans as well as any S&D recommendations.Β π

Ensure all securitized pools are delivered and purchased within expiration dates.Β π¦

Manage all internal post-close checklists; ensuring they are current and up to date.Β βοΈ

Collaborate with other departments to refine and improve processes and efficiencies.Β π€

Manage and supervise staff in fulfilling department tasks and projects.Β π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦

Train and coach staff in fulfilling the goals of the department.Β π
What We're Looking For
-
3-5 years of current or recent (within the last 12 months) Post Closing management experience.Β You'll need to have overseen a minimum of 4 direct reports in Post Closing or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience with Non-QM products and investors is preferred.
- You'll need to be familiar with FHA/HUD Guidelines, VA guidelines, FNMA/Freddie Mac guidelines, and the ability to read and interpret investor Guidelines.
- You should understand and comprehend the Mortgage Loan process through closing as well as underwriting systems.
- You must have thorough working knowledge of real estate documentation, policies, compliance, and procedures.

Additional Info
- This exempt role pays between $58,868 and $117,870 annually depending on experience and location.
- This position reports out of the Sacramento Corporate Office but is offered as hybrid-remote or remote depending on experience and location.
- You will be required to work a West Coast Schedule, Monday through Friday, and be available to work between the hours of 7am to 5pm PST.
