The Role ⚕️: Program Manager III – Clinical Trial Recruitment
This role is within the Clinical Trial Methods Center (CTMC) supporting the National Center for Clinical Trials (NCCT). You'll be a key member of a team overseeing recruitment planning for clinical trials and research studies. You will report to the Program Director for Clinical Trial Recruitment.
What You'll Do 📝:
- Oversee planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and sponsor requirements.
- Prepare analyses and reports, identify potential issues, and implement improvements.
- Manage program outcomes, supervise support personnel, and manage data for quality reporting.
- Facilitate team meetings and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Provide project leadership for digital initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders.
- Assess project specifications and estimates, manage resources, and manage project budgets.
- Formulate and monitor project plans and schedules, providing progress reports and analytics.
- Build relationships with research leaders to ensure goal alignment.
- Direct project team members and contracted vendors.
- Develop and produce digital content, establish best practices for online calls-to-action, and review web content for compliance.
- Manage recruitment strategies, create recruitment content, and oversee outreach tactics and social media campaigns.
- Source images and artwork, potentially performing image editing or graphic design.
- Review web content for conformance to standards (information architecture, editorial style, usability, branding, visual appeal).
- Track and resolve production and social media comments and issues.
- Recommend and implement recruitment outreach tactics, collaborating with study teams.
- Analyze outreach processes to establish best practices and assess emerging tools.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
What We're Looking For 🔎:
- Required: Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in marketing, business, or communications; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a media-rich environment.
- Essential Skills: Thorough knowledge of clinical trial recruitment techniques; experience with clinical trial recruitment policies and regulations (preferably within an academic medical center); excellent computer literacy and knowledge of basic web production and scripting tools; experience with a content management system; knowledge of and experience with social media (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook); strong project and process management skills.
- Preferred Skills: Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office, MS SharePoint, Google Analytics, Adobe Photoshop/Adobe Suite.
