Operations Associate, Remote-located in Spain

The Role:

As our Operations Associate, you'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth execution of our European social impact events. This is a temporary, remote contract role (2-3 months, 40 hours/week) based in Spain, with a schedule of 11 am - 7 pm CET.

What You'll Do:

• 🛍️ Event Supply Management: Source, purchase, and manage the timely delivery of event supplies, staying within budget.
• ✈️ Shipment Tracking: Monitor shipments to ensure on-time arrival.
• 🤝 Vendor Management: Evaluate vendors for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• 📊 Inventory Management: Manage event supplies inventory and daily communication with wholesalers.
• 📸 Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on event kits, including testing and photography.
• 📝 Documentation: Prepare and maintain budgets, cost estimates, reports, and project documentation (delivery schedules, status reports, purchase orders).
• 🤝 Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, address issues, and share improvement suggestions.
• 💡 Problem Solving: Identify and proactively solve potential risks to event success.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 2+ years supporting project management and operations; event experience is a plus.
• Skills: Proven project management skills, including supply sourcing and quality control. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage responsibilities effectively.
• Tech Savvy: Experience with G Suite, Salesforce, and project management tools is preferred.
• Organization: Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Languages: Proficiency in English; a second language is a plus.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
