The Role: Grow Our Referral Network!

This is a business development role focused on expanding our referral base. You'll be the face of 1-800 WATER DAMAGE, building relationships and generating leads. Think of it as a combination of sales, marketing, and relationship management.

What You'll Do:

• 🎯 Identify and cultivate referral sources: Find and connect with new referral partners (insurance adjusters, property managers, etc.).
• 🤝 Build strong relationships: Develop lasting partnerships with key referral sources to secure consistent job referrals.
• 📅 Network strategically: Attend industry events and meetings to expand your network and find new opportunities.
• 🗂️ Manage marketing materials: Maintain and order marketing materials for referral cultivation.
• 🎁 Manage swag and gifts: Use a budget to provide gifts and incentives to referral sources.
• 📧 Run email campaigns: Develop and execute email campaigns to maintain brand awareness and nurture leads.
• 📞 Collaborate internally: Work with internal staff to stay updated on referral source jobs and progress.

What We're Looking For:

• 🎓 High School Diploma or GED
• 🗣️ Proven sales experience: Minimum 2 years of outside sales, meeting customers, and qualifying leads.
• 📈 Demonstrable sales success: Show a history of increasing sales performance over time.
• 💻 Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Comfortable using all Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook.
• 📧 Email marketing experience: Experience with platforms like Constant Contact or MailChimp.
• 📊 CRM management: Experience managing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• ⭐️ Exceptional customer service: Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.
• 🗣️ Excellent communication: Confidently communicate with diverse audiences (insurance adjusters, property owners, internal staff).
• 💼 Trade show experience: Experience participating in and managing trade show operations.

Location & Work Arrangement:
