Part Time Speech Language Pathologist SLP

What You'll Do 📝

• Craft evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and treatment for speech/language issues, following IEP goals.
• Deliver online Speech & Language IEP services in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
• Use standardized tests to accurately diagnose communication problems.
• Manage the cases of students on your list.
• Attend, help with, and write IEPs that are legally sound.
• Supervise a CF or SLPA, if needed.
• Conduct thorough assessments.
• Go to SPED trainings as needed.
• Work with and support other specialists and general education staff.
• Lead MTSS groups for students.
• Set up and run weekly Social and Lunch Bunch groups.
• Handle AAC/AT needs. Train and support staff on using AAC tools.
• Take on other duties as assigned by management.
• Attend training sessions, work together, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists and general education staff.

What We're Looking For 🔎 Required:

• Current California SLP License.
• Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders. CFYs are welcome to apply!
• Experience with Case Management and IEP Writing.
• Understanding of Special Education laws and rules.
• A strong desire to work with a diverse group of people.
• The ability to make smart decisions about priorities and finish tasks without needing constant supervision.
• The ability to build positive relationships with staff.
• Excellent written communication skills and clear, efficient communication with everyone in the organization.
• A positive and cooperative attitude.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working with students in a school setting.

Compensation: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
