🚀 About the Role: As a Payments Data Analyst, you'll be the go-to expert for turning payment data into actionable insights. You'll work remotely from Spain, driving improvements in payment success and process optimization.
What You'll Do:
- ➕ Consolidate and synthesize payments data from various sources.
- ➕ Identify key insights by interpreting data and using statistical techniques.
- ➕ Communicate your findings to shape global and regional payments strategies.
- ➕ Collaborate with teams to design and implement payment optimization tests.
- ➕ Continuously monitor and report on payment success, adapting configurations as needed.
- ➕ Help build and maintain an automated payments performance monitoring system.
- ➕ Contribute to the development and upkeep of our payments success predictive model.
- ➕ Create regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) for executive leadership and the board.
- ➕ Lead root cause analyses for payment issues and create ad-hoc reports and competitive analyses.
What We're Looking For:
- 💼 Experience: 3+ years in an analytical, finance, or similar role. Deep understanding of recurring payments is a must (please detail this in your CV).
- 🎓 Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 💻 Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (especially ANSI SQL, preferably SQL Server), plus experience with at least one of the following: R, Python, Hadoop, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
- 📊 Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data visualization, interpretation, and reporting.
- 🗣️ Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, able to clearly convey information to diverse audiences.
- 💪 Other Qualities: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, takes pride in work, thrives in a fast-paced team environment, and is passionate about data and its potential. You're strategic yet tactical, accountable, and able to see projects through from start to finish.
