Per Diem ED Radiologist - Hybrid

The Role: Per Diem ED Radiologist 🧑‍⚕️

This is a per diem position offering a flexible hybrid work model, combining both on-site and remote reading responsibilities. We have openings for all shift types: 7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 11 PM, and 11 PM - 7 AM.

What You'll Do:

• Interpret various imaging modalities: CT, MRI, ultrasound, and basic nuclear medicine.
• Work on-site at the University campus with a resident and/or Emergency Radiology fellow.
• Provide remote radiology coverage for several other hospitals.
• Opportunities for internal moonlighting are available.

What We're Looking For:

• Required: Comfort and proficiency in interpreting CT, MRI, ultrasound, and basic nuclear medicine.
• Desired: Fellowship training in Emergency Radiology (not mandatory).

Our Department:

Our Radiology department is a large and dynamic team, including approximately 80 radiologists, 20 residents, 9 fellows, and 15 PhDs. The ED group specifically consists of 15 radiologists. We serve over one million people, operate a Level 1 Trauma Center, and handle 95,000 ED visits annually. Our department boasts over $6 million in yearly research funding, actively encouraging and supporting academic pursuits in research and education. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including AGFA PACS, EPIC EMR, Tera-Recon image processing software, Powerscribe 360, and several AI algorithms.
