Your Role: FinanceBuzz Personal Finance Editor As a Personal Finance Editor at FinanceBuzz, you'll create high-quality content that empowers our readers to make smart financial choices. You'll be a key player in our mission to provide user-friendly resources for everyone, no matter where they are in their financial journey.

Responsibilities:

• ✍️ Craft compelling and informative content on personal finance topics like investing, banking, credit cards, and side hustles.
• 🔍 Edit and update existing content to improve reader experience and follow SEO best practices, boosting rankings and monetization.
• 📈 Analyze page performance metrics to make strategic decisions on how to optimize content for quality and conversion.
• 🧠 Collaborate with freelance writers, providing constructive feedback to help them deliver their best work.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in a digital editor role
• 🔥 Passion for creating high-quality, high-performance content
• 💰 Expertise in some area of personal finance and familiarity with compliance
• 💪 Ability to work independently and make decisions
• 💻 Experience working within a CMS (WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
• 🧠 Experience mentoring writers and editors
• 👨‍💻 Experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Asana (or Airtable or Trello)
• 🔍 A clear understanding of how search engine optimization works
• HTML knowledge is a plus
