Ping Identity IAM Architect - REMOTE

The Role:

This remote IAM Architect position, based anywhere in the United States (central time zones preferred), offers the chance to design, architect, and maintain software systems for user access to organizational data and networks. You'll be a key player in shaping our security landscape.

What You'll Do:

• Develop a security architecture aligned with organizational policies, compliance, and business objectives.
• Define and implement identity lifecycle management processes (provisioning, authorization, de-provisioning).
• Define access control policies and ensure appropriate user access rights.
• Provide technical leadership in identity and access management.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement security best practices.
• Test user access to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Determine vulnerabilities in company databases.
• Develop solutions and recommendations for process challenges, emerging threats, and technology changes.

What You'll Need:

• Must have: Minimum 10 years of IAM experience.
• Deep understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Expertise in production enterprise deployments of PingFederation/PingOne, Sailpoint, Okta, or Auth0.
• Expertise in migration from AD, Kerberos, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Familiarity with application integration, APIs, SDKs, and custom application development.
• Familiarity with software development life cycles (git, CI/CD, IaC).
• Travel: 10-25% domestic travel.
