⚙️ The Role:

As a Platform Engineer, you'll be instrumental in architecting robust infrastructure solutions, implementing best practices in cloud computing and automation, and continuously optimizing performance and reliability. You'll empower cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently.

🎯 Responsibilities:

• Design and Architectural Planning: Design and architect multi-cloud infrastructure and services, developing architectural patterns and best practices.
• Infrastructure Provisioning & Configuration: Automate deployment and configuration processes for consistency, reliability, and scalability.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Optimize containerized workloads for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
• CI/CD: Design CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitoring & Observability: Configure dashboards, track key metrics, identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security controls, conduct regular assessments and audits, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Capacity Planning & Optimization: Monitor resource utilization, identify optimization opportunities, and manage cloud spending effectively (FinOps).
• Research & Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies, evaluate new tools, and lead R&D initiatives.

💪 Requirements:

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Certification is a plus.
• Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, Github).
• Understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, VPN).
• Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

➕ Nice to Have:

• Experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining scalable cloud-based platforms.
