๐Ÿš€ย The Role

We're searching for a skilled commercial and technical leader to build and manage AUTODOC's extensive EU-wide Private Brand (PB) Pricing.
Reporting to the Commercial Pricing Lead and collaborating closely with Private Brand Leadership, you'll play a pivotal part in driving business growth and profits.
Your core responsibility is to ensure that our Private Brand assortment is competitively priced for our customers and develop an automated solution for Private Brand Pricing.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the Private Brand Pricing team, including a dedicated analyst.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to establish a PB pricing and profitability strategy. This will involve shifting from an internal focus to a customer-centric pricing approach.
  • Refine and develop the entire set of business controls related to pricing.
  • Guide a cross-functional team encompassing Product Tech and Data Science. This team develops our AI/ML algorithms and creates a feedback loop to assess their performance.
  • Own and refine Private Brand pricing strategies that help the company hit its profitability and sales targets while delighting our customers.
  • Develop a pricing approach that leverages ML/AI and competitive pricing signals to optimize company profitability and sales, while keeping customers happy.
  • Design and implement new processes and metrics for the team to review and monitor results, make adjustments, and identify new features to add.
  • Analyze data on sales, profitability, market and pricing trends to understand product and brand cannibalization (Private Brands vs. Non-Private Brands).

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ yearsย of pricing/commercial experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods (either directly or in a consulting role).
  • 4+ yearsย working with analytics (or AI โ€” experience developing and implementing ML models).
  • 4+ yearsย collaborating with tech teams to develop products or automate solutions.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (especially concise, data-driven written communication).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to effectively guide stakeholders, both with and without direct authority, and find solutions that balance scope and development time.
  • Understanding of statistics and experiment design (e.g., A/B testing, difference-in-difference).
  • Preferred:ย Experience with SQL and Python.
  • Preferred:ย Experience with Private Brand Pricing.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, thinking and acting as an owner.
