What You'll Do 🛠️
- Establish best practices for design workshops and architectural decision-making, enabling engineers to work independently and develop new initiatives with high-quality standards.
- Identify improvement areas for specific components, aligning with product strategy and collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Engineers on execution plans. You'll proactively gather feedback and metrics.
- Become a technical leader and mentor, guiding engineers in architectural thinking and advanced practices. You'll represent Mambu at technical events and conferences.
- This is a hands-on role. While daily coding isn't expected, you should be comfortable getting involved in the technical details.
What You'll Bring 💼
- Extensive hands-on engineering experience, ideally including contributions to Open Source projects and experience in a product-led SaaS company or scale-up.
- Cloud expertise: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing) and experience with big data technologies like Kafka.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with modern product management techniques (planning, discovery, development).
- Java knowledge.

Compensation & Benefits 💰
The base salary for this position in Lithuania is €9,200 gross (before taxes) monthly. This is a full-time equivalent target rate. The actual rate offered will depend on experience and skills relative to other Mambuvians. For other locations, the starting salary will be discussed during the recruitment process.
