π The Role:Β Procurement Agent I
This role ensures all purchase orders are issued and tracked from start to finish. You'll manage open orders, maintain data accuracy, and collaborate with various departments and vendors. Problem-solving and timely escalation of issues are key.
π― Key Responsibilities:
- Manually input requisitions into purchase orders
- Send purchase orders to vendors
- Obtain and input purchase order confirmations (manual & EDI)
- Update and maintain purchase order status until product receipt
- Expedite and follow up on overdue orders
- Perform basic data management tasks β review and update information
- Provide prompt and effective customer service
- Escalate issues promptly when assistance is needed
- Participate in process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of supply chain experience

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteΒ (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint β create, open, modify, save, and send). Equivalent tool experience will be considered.
β Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Healthcare supply chain experience and/or product knowledge
- Data management skills (data analysis, report evaluation/creation)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders
- Current certification from ASCM, ISM, SOLE, NCMA, CSCMP, IBF, PMI, or IpX
