π οΈ The Role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the strategy for our private label assortment to ensure a well-balanced and profitable product portfolio.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, understand customer preferences, and assess the competitive environment.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to spot opportunities for new private label products.
- Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends and innovations to incorporate them into our product development.
- Identify and seize new market opportunities to expand our private label product range.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to develop new private label products and guide the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to market launch.
- Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Create and execute effective marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive sales.
- In partnership with the Procurement Manager, build and cultivate strong relationships with manufacturers, negotiate favorable terms, prices, and contracts.
- Work hand-in-hand with other teams, like marketing, supply chain, quality control, and legal, to ensure a seamless strategy execution.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular performance reports with insightful data and recommendations.

Requirements (Essential):
- A solid understanding of the Tools category market, including major brands, production characteristics, quality differences, how tools are used for various tasks, and the distinctions between professional tools.
- A strong sense of ownership β think like a business owner.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- A strong ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and business needs.
- Good creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Fluent English language skills.
- A university degree or equivalent business experience.
Requirements (Preferred):
- Knowledge of other European languages β a plus!

- 5+ years of professional experience in business, category management, purchasing, or sales within the Tools category.
- Proven success in developing and launching new private label product lines.
