This Program Director role offers leadership and oversight of multiple business operations functions within Magellan Health, Inc.'s Louisiana ECSS. You'll be responsible for developing and managing operational metrics, policies, procedures, and a cross-functional team. A key focus will be on budget management, systems efficiencies, and process improvements.
π― Responsibilities
- Direct and monitor the day-to-day operations of a cross-functional team, tracking monthly performance and service levels.
- Develop and maintain high quality work standards and execution.
- Utilize key metrics and an active management style to ensure productivity and quality.
- Provide direct oversight of new services, from implementation to execution.
- Collaborate with various departments within this highly matrixed organization to meet business and operational needs.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure data quality and technological efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and reduce administrative costs.
- Manage the budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
πͺ What We're Looking For

Minimum 8 yearsΒ of healthcare experience andΒ 5 yearsΒ of management experience, including profit and loss responsibility.
- Proven success managing complex, interdependent functions and/or data systems and database management.
- A strong track record of planning, organizing, scheduling, directing, controlling, and monitoring large-scale, multi-functional projects.
- Experience interacting with executive management and providing concise project reports.
- Ability to conduct basic financial and quantitative analysis.
- Familiarity with information systems and the MS Office Suite.
- Thorough understanding of complex management principles, practices, methods, and techniques.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing or directing operational support areas and key functions.
- Understanding of operational service delivery in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with senior management and staff at all organizational levels.
- Ability to motivate, manage, and mentor teams; strong organizational skills, and the ability to plan, document, and develop operational plans and execute them effectively.
