🚀 The Role:
As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll spearhead quality assurance for our mobile app projects. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading QA efforts throughout the entire app lifecycle, from requirements to post-launch monitoring.
- Designing and implementing mobile app-specific quality processes, including test strategies, automation frameworks, and performance benchmarks.
- Executing diverse testing activities (functional, usability, performance, security) for iOS and Android. This involves both manual and automated methods.
- Ensuring apps adhere to platform guidelines and perform flawlessly across various devices, screen sizes, and OS versions. You'll tackle issues like crashes, slowdowns, and UI inconsistencies.
- Collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product managers to address quality concerns.
- Investigating and diagnosing user-reported issues, employing root cause analysis to prevent future problems.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of test cases, results, and defect reports. You'll also provide regular updates on quality metrics and app performance.
- Verifying app compliance with platform guidelines (App Store, Google Play) and security/privacy standards.
🎯 What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 1-5 years of mobile app QA experience, with a proven track record in manual and automated testing for iOS and Android.

Technical Skills: Expertise in mobile app testing tools (Appium, Selenium, Postman, Newman); experience using development tools for mobile app testing; strong understanding of mobile app development processes and lifecycles; proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Confluence); knowledge of mobile performance metrics and debugging techniques.

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork abilities.
