Regulatory Specialist (Remote).816- 3042

🚀 About the Company:

A Fortune 500 telecommunications company is looking for an experienced Regulatory Specialist for a temporary role (at least six months, possibly longer). This is a remote position, but you may need to travel to a company location for training or meetings if you're nearby.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and file FCC/FAA applications and related documents for tower work (building, changing, antenna installs).
• Review project plans to check for regulatory needs and compliance.
• Check permits and documents for compliance.
• Approve or deny Regulatory Notices to Proceed (RNTPs) for tower sites.
• Order and complete assessments, filings, and other regulatory documents, including electronic filings for the FCC and FAA.
• Build relationships with FCC, FAA, and other relevant agencies to ensure quick application processing.
• Use the company's systems to review and approve tower projects through RNTPs and document flow.
• Answer regulatory questions from internal and external customers.
• Keep accurate regulatory approval and documentation records.
• Become skilled in understanding and using FAA, FCC, and NEPA guidelines.
• Build relationships with regulatory staff from other companies.
• Research regulatory compliance questions, including reviewing acquisitions and responding to potential violations.

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of regulatory compliance experience.
• Knowledge of the wireless industry and government processes.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience with FAA Forms (7460 and lighting regulations, Form 854), state DOTs, and supporting documents (site surveys, USGS maps).
• Experience in pre-construction evaluation and permitting, including NEPA review.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Frink-Hamlett Legal Solutions.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $30-$35, depending on experience and location.
