Remote Broadcast Technician

🚀 About the Role

Audacy is looking for a versatile Remote Broadcast Technician! This role is perfect for a utility player who can handle entry-level tasks across Engineering, Programming, and Marketing, while keeping our branding equipment and vehicle fleet in top shape.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Maintain the readiness of all promotional equipment and station vehicles.
• Develop and maintain organizational procedures for broadcast equipment.
• Engineer and execute live remote broadcasts.
• Set up and operate a live performance studio as a sound engineer.
• Assist with setup and repair of broadcast gear, sound equipment, office equipment, and furniture.
• Support in-station and field operations as needed across technical and marketing departments.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

💪 What We're Looking For

• Must-haves: Self-starter, ability to work independently, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to handle pressure and think creatively to solve problems, friendly and customer-service oriented attitude, willingness to tackle diverse tasks. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance (if using your own vehicle) are required.
• Nice-to-haves: Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.

🏋️‍♀️ Physical Requirements

This job involves frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, and smelling. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds is required. Good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment) and a good sense of direction are essential.
