🚀 About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Motive Software Solutions as a Renewals Specialist. You will play a key role in ensuring timely contract renewals, maximizing contract value, and fostering strong customer relationships. This is a remote position, open to candidates based in Portugal, Spain, or Romania.

💼 What You'll Do

  • Contract Renewals: Renew contracts on time and at or above the existing contract value.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers well in advance of their renewal date to discuss contract terms, address concerns, and highlight the value Motive provides.
  • Trusted Advisor: Become a trusted advisor for customers' support needs, cultivating a mutually beneficial relationship.
  • Collaboration: Handle renewals in collaboration with the account team to preserve and enhance customer contracts and relationships.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate renewal terms, pricing, and conditions with customers, ensuring win-win outcomes.
  • Quote Preparation: Provide a consultative and proactive process for producing competitive renewal quotes, consulting with internal sales teams to overcome objections.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams for a cohesive approach to customer retention and growth.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on renewal rates, reasons for non-renewal, and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement. Maintain and update reporting systems for accurate renewal forecasts.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as a customer advocate, ensuring feedback is communicated to relevant teams to drive product and service enhancements.
  • Upselling: Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell additional products and services during the renewal process.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong business relationships with customers, Account Executives, and other stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Consistently look to enhance renewal processes and procedures while working to achieve an exceptional team environment. Utilize departmental standard operating procedures to bring renewal contracts in at full value and on time.

🎯 What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a customer support, sales-oriented, or renewals environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand client needs, and focus content accordingly.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Organization & Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SaaS Understanding: Understanding of SaaS business models and customer retention strategies.
  • Team Leadership (Preferred): Experience leading and managing a geographically dispersed team is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Experience with mobile telecommunications and network technologies is beneficial.
  • Personal Attributes: Goal-oriented, positive, self-starter, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work aggressively, be competitive and persuasive, while demonstrating confidence and resilience, and maintaining integrity and credibility. Strong desire to establish and maintain strong client relationships. Ability to work cross-functionally with a dynamic team. Proficiency in navigating larger deals and managing multiple stakeholders.
