💻 Job Description

• Develop using PL/SQL to write complex queries and scripts to retrieve and manipulate data in Oracle databases.
• Analyze and ensure smooth technical design document transitions, and develop various SQL packages to support application developers.
• Monitor all PL/SQL packages and suggest changes as needed. Provide stored procedures, design, and develop various relational databases.
• Evaluate Oracle application architectures, and prepare layouts for all logical models. Maintain database objects for different application components.
• Work with RMS or Retek applications and databases to provide technical support and make sure they integrate seamlessly with Oracle databases.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance to make sure data retrieval and processing is efficient.
• Collaborate with application developers to provide technical support and solve issues related to PL/SQL packages and stored procedures.
• Take part in the design and development of new database applications, including data modeling and schema design.
• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics, spot areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize database performance.

🔎 Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a similar field.
• +2 years of experience with PL/SQL development.
• Experience with databases (Oracle and/or SQL).
• Experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
