We're seeking a Salesforce & Business Systems Manager to join our team for a project in the SaaS solutions area, located in Lisbon.

💼 About the Role:

As a Salesforce & Business Systems Manager, you will be in charge of developing and maintaining all our Salesforce applications, as well as project managing the expansion of our Business Systems portfolio. Your role will cover multiple areas and systems, primarily focusing on the growth of our Salesforce ecosystem. This includes defining priorities and shaping the development roadmap across our systems.

Beyond Salesforce, you will also oversee an extended suite of sales applications, including CPQ, e-signature, market intelligence, subscription management, a calendar booking application, and various integrations via Zapier, among others. As part of a continuously growing and evolving systems, you will play a key role in making sure of seamless integration and optimization across these tools.

This role is critical in making sure that the company keeps its systems state-of-the-art, facilitating continued growth and adaptation to ongoing changes. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with continuous change, constantly seeking new ways to improve efficiency and add value to the company.

As part of your role, you will provide guidance and support to make sure of adherence to best practices as the company scales its systems. At times, this will involve working with and managing external consultants and vendors in the integration and development of the company’s business systems.

You will be deeply engaged with various teams and stakeholders across the organization, where a collaborative and problem-solving attitude, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, will be essential. Additionally, making sure of timely and continuous deliveries will be a key aspect of your role.

🎯 Tasks (What You’ll Do):

  • Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders in Sales, GTM, Marketing, and Customer Success to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements and scalable system solutions that solve business needs.
  • Salesforce Development: Maintain and manage a prioritized roadmap for future developments and integrations required in Salesforce. Conduct all business requirements gathering, documentation, development, and testing; and where required, leverage external Salesforce consultants or other solution experts. Make sure stakeholders are continuously updated on timelines and expectations for delivery.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budgets for systems licenses requirements, in alignment with the leadership teams, and finance as part of the annual budgeting process. Provide business cases for any new, additional systems requirements.
  • Vendor Relationships: Maintain all IT vendor relationships, including managing vendor selections, benchmarking, and negotiations (in alignment with management and IT).
  • Team Leadership: Manage 1 direct report, consisting of a Salesforce Administrator / Business Analyst, making sure they are delivering quality work in a timely manner and are continuously updating and communicating with stakeholders on timelines, prioritizations, status’s, etc.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work to improve existing Salesforce infrastructure and put in place new features and functionality according to best practices. Use data and results to proactively seek out opportunities for improvement and enhancement of our current systems and processes.

✅ Requirements (What We’re Looking For):

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of Business Systems Management experience. This must include at least 5 years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce developer, including a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, its architecture, and its limitations.
  • A big plus would be if you have a Salesforce Architect background.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools.
  • Knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Salesforce developer certifications, such as Platform Developer I and II, are highly essential, with a Salesforce Architect certification highly preferred.
  • License and budget management – ideally have a background managing budgets for licenses and costs.
