Cross Border Talents is seeking a SAP Digital Engagement Manager for a European client based in Lisbon, Portugal. What You'll Do


  • Support the sales-to-delivery handover and customer onboarding for SAP Enterprise Cloud Services.
  • Help onboard and transition customers to SAP Enterprise Cloud Services.
  • Manage service/project delivery, ensuring alignment with planned scope, budget, and milestones.
  • Assist in de-escalating critical customer situations. Collaborate with Major Incident Management (MIM), SAP Enterprise Cloud Services Customer Office teams, and SAP Product Support as needed.
  • Contribute to customer release and maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support to customers throughout their lifecycle within the SAP Enterprise.
  • Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with various SAP user stakeholders, especially Virtual Customer Success partners, to ensure customer success.
  • Review account status and analyze the need for transitioning accounts to other teams based on growth in volume or complexity.
  • Streamline associate onboarding with mandatory training and documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge transfer documents on new topics and conduct refresher sessions.

What You'll Need


  • Technical Skills: At least 4+ years of experience in SAP Basis. Solid understanding and hands-on experience with HANA databases. Experience with SAP Upgrade & Migration (OS/DB) is a must. Experience integrating SaaS products (Ariba, Salesforce, C4S, etc.) with SAP landscapes is a plus. Hands-on experience with any hyperscaler (AWS/Azure/GCP) is required.
  • Experience: 4+ years with multinational software/IT organizations. 2+ years of experience in cloud knowledge (e.g., through Solution Management, Consulting, and/or Delivery Program management). 2+ years of SAP Basis S/4HANA knowledge.
  • Languages: German, Dutch, and Greek are mandatory.
