About the Role

This is a hybrid role based in Lisbon, Portugal. You'll be leading a team of skilled engineers and working closely with clients to deliver high-quality, tested solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery in client engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for quality and testing products.
• Collaborate with clients and Deployment Services to ensure service delivery aligned with their needs while managing costs effectively.
• Guide a team of engineers in delivering efficient quality and testing capabilities across our product and service catalog.
• Adapt to changing client needs, ensuring services remain relevant and leveraging agile methodologies.
• Bridge the gap between client business needs and technical requirements, developing strategic solutions.
• Contribute to creating and offering the best Cloud and DevOps Services for customers.
• Maintain a client-centric focus, ensuring high satisfaction and success with our products.
• Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and procedures.
• Define testing standards and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing and quality products and capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• Academic Background: B.Sc. or MSc in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Expertise in roadmap product definition, timesheet management, and agile methodology is required.
• Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrable experience leading engineering teams with the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing situations.
  • Significant business acumen, enabling you to connect business goals with engineering solutions while managing costs effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in modern cloud architecture paradigms (microservices, serverless) and all aspects of DevOps (methodological and technical elements like CI/CD, containerization, and automation).
  • Very deep knowledge of SAP environments and modules, both as applications and with testing capabilities.
  • Experience with test automation tools like Tosca, Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
  • Proven experience working with Cloud and DevOps delivery initiatives and related technologies and methodologies (agile).
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, with hands-on experience in test automation.
  • Proficiency in using agile project management tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and scripting languages for test automation.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required; French is a plus.
