Responsibilities

• Observe trends and progress in NLP and AI research to integrate innovations from the field of Large Language Models into the product.
• Ensure that LLMs can be used productively with customers in conjunction with the botario platform, whether this involves the newest faster inference framework or the very latest prompting technique.
• Experiment with new models and architectures to make the chatbot more powerful.
• Support the botario team and customers in evaluating LLMs regarding response quality, latencies, costs, and other aspects by providing well-founded analyses and valuable insights to make optimal decisions.

Requirements

• Very good programming skills and comfort engaging with DevOps, adhering to best practices, and having successfully completed software projects.
• Enjoy working in a team and with agile methods.
• Practical experience in implementing AI-related functions in software products, from model training to deployment and versioning.
• Experience with Python, microservice architectures, ML-Model Serving, Docker, and similar technologies.
• Think in a solution-oriented manner, approaching problems analytically and structurally.
• Have an independent working style and be enthusiastic about AI.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Initial experience in the commercial use of Open-Source LLMs, preferably in low-latency contexts combined with SpeechToText and TextToSpeech models.
• Experience with the latest LLM technologies and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
