🚀 What You'll Do:

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you'll be a key player in developing and scaling our backend database systems. You'll connect our new data microservices and support the core infrastructure of our platform. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of our product.

• Technical Excellence: Lead development of scalable backend systems using MongoDB and BigQuery.
• System Architecture: Design and implement robust backend architectures for complex data processing and high-availability storage. Apply best practices in Identity and Access Management.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously improve backend system performance and reliability.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high code quality and system reliability through testing and CI practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product, front-end, and design teams.
• Innovation: Research and integrate new technologies to keep our systems at the forefront of industry standards.
• Ownership: Take ownership of software solutions from analysis and design to delivery.
• Requirements Definition: Define application requirements aligning with best practices.
• Application Development: Develop, customize, and test applications.
• Training: Provide technical training to team members.
• Design & Planning: Participate in design sessions, sprint planning, and backlog management.

🎯 What We're Looking For:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 4-6 years of backend development experience.
• Backend Expertise: Strong experience designing and developing scalable backend systems using MongoDB and GCP or AWS; understanding of cloud-native/serverless architectures.
• Data Expertise: In-depth understanding of various content schemas (structured, semi-structured, unstructured) and their impact on database design and performance.
• Security: Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management principles and secure access controls.
• System Architecture: Proven ability to architect high-performance, scalable, and reliable systems.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and optimization.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts.
• Collaboration: Experience in collaborative development environments with a history of successful project delivery.

➕ Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
