The Team

With the Data & AI Factory, we are building the central, company-wide Data & AI platform for Creditreform—scalable, cloud-native, and future-proof. Our mission is to provide a platform where our teams can quickly, securely, and efficiently develop and operate data analytics and AI solutions. We think end-to-end, integrate current technologies and frameworks, and combine innovation with clear principles regarding security and governance.

In this context, we are looking for you as a Senior Data & AI Cloud Platform Engineer to realize this platform with us, continuously improve it, and transition it into stable, productive operation.

Responsibilities

• Jointly responsible with the team for the setup and operation of our cloud-based Data & AI platform.
• Design and implement CI/CD processes as well as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to automatically provision and further develop infrastructure and platform components.
• Responsible for the performance, availability, security, and cost control of the platform in daily operations.
• Evaluate new technologies and integrate suitable tools, frameworks, and services into our platform architecture.
• Work closely with our Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and BI Developers to provide a high-performance, user-friendly platform.
• Actively contribute your experience to architectural decisions, technology reviews, and the engineering governance setup of the Factory.

Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science, data engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in building and operating cloud-native platforms in the Data & AI area.
• Long-standing passion combined with corresponding experience in building and operating Data & AI platforms (especially Databricks) with a cloud provider (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Sound knowledge in the areas of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar) and CI/CD pipelines, and you are very familiar with the underlying principles and tools (GitLab or similar).
• Familiar with DevSecOps best practices, and they are a firm part of your daily work.
• Good written and spoken German and English skills.
