We're on the hunt for a rockstar Senior Data Scientist to join our team!
This is a remote position based in Lisbon, Portugal.
What you'll do:
- 🧠 Translate business needs into machine learning problems.
- 📊 Dive deep into data with Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and feature engineering.
- 🧪 Run experiments to compare different models for training.
- 🏆 Implement best practices for choosing the right model and fine-tuning its parameters.
What we're looking for:
- 🎓 A background in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 🧠 A deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and their theories.
- 💪 2-8 years of experience building and deploying machine learning models in production.
- 💻 Proficiency in Python's machine learning ecosystem.
- ⚡️ Experience with Spark (PySpark).
- 🏗️ Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- 🤝 Excellent teamwork, communication, and analytical thinking skills.
- 🗣️ Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
