Good data is crucial for detecting financial crime, and our Data Science team is at the forefront. As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll be instrumental in powering ComplyAdvantage's Financial Crime solutions and making a global impact. You'll work alongside Engineering, Data Analytics, and Product teams to process massive amounts of structured and unstructured data, extracting valuable information. You will also:

  • Lead and shape the development of cutting-edge data products, from initial concept to full deployment.
  • Collaborate across teams to analyze data from multiple sources for improved unification.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by continuously researching new tools, technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our existing data sources, identifying challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage exploratory data analysis and data mining techniques to pinpoint areas for product enhancement.
  • Own data metrics, designing them for each machine learning module based on business needs and customer feedback.
  • Deliver data insights and visualizations to inspire new ideas for our product roadmap.

πŸš€Β About You:

  • Must-haves:Β MSc or PhD in a quantitative field, or comparable experience; 5+ years of data science or related experience with a proven track record of success; a passion for data and a history of solving complex real-world problems using algorithms; ability to translate business needs into technical solutions; excellent communication skills to explain complex information clearly to various stakeholders; coding proficiency (ideally Python); experience with at least one of the following: Natural Language Processing, Entity Resolution, Graph Theory, or Graph Machine Learning; hands-on experience with modern machine learning frameworks like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or Spark; a strong desire to continuously learn and explore.

  • Experience deploying machine learning solutions and integrating them into data pipelines.
  • Experience with Big Data platforms like Spark.
