The Role 🧑‍💻

This senior role offers a chance to shape our platform's future. You'll make architectural decisions, mentor team members, and share your expertise within our close-knit team of ~27 developers, QA, and product specialists. We foster strong team bonds through multidisciplinary collaboration.

What You'll Do 🛠️

• Build new products and features using our Vue (and Nuxt) architecture, and explore other technologies (emails, browser extensions).
• Contribute to problem-solving, technical decisions, and code reviews.
• Guide less experienced developers through complex tasks, creating documentation and outlining solutions.
• Participate in spec reviews, assessing feasibility, cost, and complexity.
• Contribute to discussions on code reusability, maintainability, and architectural improvements.

What We're Looking For ✨

• At least 8 years of front-end development experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in architecture or technical leadership (informal experience counts).
• Proficiency in building complex Vue applications with custom configurations and multiple entry points.
• Understanding of web security vulnerabilities (XSS, SQL injection, CSRF).
• Familiarity with linting, code splitting, lazy loading, and Webpack plugins.
• Knowledge of website rendering performance strategies (render-blocking resources, layout thrashing, first contentful paint).
• Experience progressively adding new technologies to projects.
• Self-motivation and independence.
• A passion for solving challenging problems.
• Interest in building web applications for millions of users.
• Ability to write clean, organized, reusable code.
• Willingness to work with and improve an existing codebase.
