💻 The Stack Our frontend is a single-page application, built with a mix of ES6 and TypeScript, as well as React. Further technologies we use are react-query, styled-components, jest, and react-testing-library. On the backend, we use Ruby on Rails, Postgres, and Redis. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS, and we have a solid CI/CD setup which allows us to spin up QA environments and deploy to production with a simple click of a button.

🎯 Key Responsibilities We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who enjoys working across the stack to build impactful software products with great user experiences. You will work with a small but highly experienced, diverse, and fun team of engineers, designers, and product specialists. Some of the challenges you will face:

• Build and ship exciting features across front- and backend, making sure of smooth, reliable functionality and great UX.
• Eliminate tech debt and reduce inconsistencies. (Yes, you will get dedicated refactoring time!)
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, architecture, and all other aspects of the codebase.

You will also:

• Have a say in which and how product features are developed.
• Own projects across the whole development lifecycle, from idea to deployment.
• Shape architectural, technical, and organizational decisions.

✅ Requirements We’d love to meet you if …

• You have demonstrated ownership and autonomy in previous roles.
• You have deep knowledge in developing complex user interfaces and component libraries using React.
• You have solid foundations in JavaScript/TypeScript and in-depth CSS experience.
• You are comfortable with Ruby on Rails, including concepts like Active Record, background jobs, and RESTful APIs.
• You promote software craftsmanship, clean code, and robust tests.
• You have contributed to architectural decisions and know how to break down a larger problem into smaller steps.
• You have an intuitive understanding of good design and UX.
• Your desire to teach and learn is bigger than your ego.
• You have excellent communication skills in English and can present complicated solutions simply to non-technical audiences.
• Bonus: You have experience with launching AI features (LLMs, RAG, …).
