Senior / Fullstack Developer (Go, Golang) Remote

About the Role:

We're searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, ideal for candidates within the EU timezone (CET +/- 2 hours). You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge SaaS applications.

What You'll Do:

Backend Development:

• Design and develop scalable, distributed server-side applications and microservices using Go (Golang).
• Implement peer-to-peer communication solutions.
• Ensure cross-platform functionality and application compatibility.
• Optimize for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Build and improve security measures.
• Create reusable code libraries for backend features.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to understand user needs.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor other developers.

Frontend Development:

• Partner with our Product Designer to bring product designs to life.
• Develop efficient and reusable front-end components and systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code.
• Optimize for speed and stability.
• Create reusable code libraries (UI-ToolKit).
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks.
• Actively participate in application lifecycle management.
• Share and promote best practices for front-end engineering.
• Contribute to all stages of our product development process.

General Responsibilities:

• Participate actively in Agile Scrum: backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Write high-performance, reusable, fully unit-tested code (both backend and frontend).
• Improve code quality through unit testing and automation.
• Collaborate with team members to share innovative ideas.
• Maintain high standards for quality and craftsmanship.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum 7 years as a Fullstack Developer or similar role with experience in both backend and frontend technologies.
• Technical Skills:
  • Backend: Go (Golang) proficiency; practical knowledge of internet technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, XML).
  • Frontend: Proficiency in building single-page JavaScript applications (SPAs) using modern frameworks like React.js, Redux.js, JavaScript, Node.js, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, multi-threaded programming, and service-oriented architectures (REST, JSON).
  • Proficiency in HTML5/CSS3 and Object-Oriented JavaScript Frameworks, including TypeScript.

Bonus Points:

• French language skills.
