  • Create game design documents (GDDs) that explain game flow, features, and mechanics.

  • Present and explain game ideas to business leaders, marketing teams, and product managers.
  • Act as the connection between the design team and Asian stakeholders, making sure communication is smooth and everyone agrees.

Game Mechanics & Balancing

  • Design fun and mathematically correct game mechanics, making them better for player involvement and keeping players coming back.
  • Work with data analysts to look at player behavior and carefully adjust game balance.
  • Create new things for existing casino games by adding unique mechanics, features, and ways to reward players.

Art & UX Collaboration

  • Work with the Art and UI/UX teams to develop interfaces that look good and are easy to use.

  • Give feedback on game pictures, moving parts, and the steps players take.

Market Research & Industry Trends

  • Stay current on casino gaming trends, competitor games, and what players like.
  • Understand rules and compliance limits that affect game design in different markets.
  • Examine player feedback and market results to make changes to existing games.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience in game design, especially in casino, card games, or iGaming.
  • Being fluent in both Mandarin and English (speaking and writing) is required.
  • Deep understanding of casino game mechanics, card games (for example, Hold’em, Stud), and sweepstakes models.
  • Experience in game balancing, Return to Player (RTP) calculations, and ways to earn money.
  • Strong ability to sell ideas and explain design choices to people who have a stake in the outcome.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to get many teams (Design, Art, UX, Product, Marketing, and Asia-based stakeholders) working together.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Skill in game design tools such as Figma, Miro, Unity, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Experience in Asia's casino and card game markets is very wanted.
